When love takes you in
you feel appreciated for just being your self.

you don’t have to jump through hoops,
or project any images.

When love takes you in
you feel grateful for the kindness
and the memories shared.

When love takes you in
your whole being feels warm and cozy,
like being tucked into bed
under a soft down comforter.

When love takes you in
you feel so grateful.
