HSP Retreat | Highly Sensitive Introverts
A Sacred Sanctuary to Heal Emotional Wounds
and Reclaim Your Radiant Authentic Self
Are you a high-achieving Highly Sensitive Introvert who secretly feels exhausted? Beneath the surface of an accomplished life, do you carry a heavy, silent weight of chronic stress, anxiety, or overstimulation?
The unique wiring of a highly sensitive person means you possess a brilliant mind and a deep, tender inner world. Constantly absorbing the world’s noise can leave you running on empty—trapped in a state of survival mode rather than stepping into your true creative potential.
Each retreat is custom-tailored to meet the needs of the participants, combining somatic Breathwork, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and master-level coaching. Together, we will safely process accumulated anxiety, dissolve emotional wounds, and anchor a solid relationship with your Authentic Self and your deepest spiritual connection.

6 Foundations of the Transformational Process
for Highly Sensitive Introverts
An Organic, Tailored Journey
.
The Sacred Value of Shadow Work
Because we dive straight into deep somatic psycho-spiritual transformative work, this is not an introductory workshop or a surface-level relaxation retreat.
What is Shadow Work?
The “shadow” consists of the hidden parts of the psyche—the buried pain, repressed emotions, unmet needs, childhood defenses, and survival strategies that were pushed out of awareness in order to stay safe early in life. Because you’re highly sensitive, you naturally absorb stress and emotions from the people around you. It’s incredibly easy to push down your own anger, grief, or true desires just to keep the peace or make others comfortable.
Shadow work is the intentional, compassionate practice of bringing these unconscious patterns into the light of awareness. It is not about judging or fixing yourself. Instead, this deep personal growth work is the exact key to uncovering the root causes of chronic anxiety, perfectionism, and relationship dysfunction.
The Benefits of Doing Shadow Work
When you courageously choose to face your shadow instead of bypassing it, the transformational returns are profound and lasting:
- Relief from Chronic Anxiety & Burnout: By removing childhood wounds from the nervous system, you stop burning daily energy trying to manage or suppress hidden pain.
- Emotional Freedom and Self-Mastery: You shift from reacting blindly out of old triggers to responding intentionally from your Wise, Radiant Authentic Self.
- Rock-Solid Boundaries Without Guilt: Embracing your shadow helps you reclaim your personal power and voice, allowing you to establish firm boundaries in your career and relationships without fear of conflict or rejection.
- Spiritual Intimacy and Creativity: When you stop running from your shadow material, you unlock massive reserves of creative energy, authentic joy, and a clean, undistorted spiritual connection.
Prerequisites
To ensure the safety and alignment of the entire group, all participants must meet the following baseline criteria before their registration is finalized:
- Required Reading / Listening: You must read or listen to my bestselling book, The Gifted Highly Sensitive Introvert: Wisdom for Emotional Healing and Expressing Your Radiant Authentic Self, prior to our first private coaching session. Because this book contains my personal memoir and teaching stories, this small investment serves as your primary tool to determine if you resonate with my approach. Consume it cover-to-cover before we begin so we can hit the ground running, ensuring we speak the same emotional language from day one.
- The Onboarding Requirement: New clients must complete a minimum of five (5) paid private sessions with Benita Esposito at least two months prior to the retreat. These preparatory sessions allow us to map out your goals, assess alignment, and ensure you are structurally supported before entering a group. (Note: If you are currently seeing another therapist, this retreat serves as a powerful, deep-dive accelerator alongside your ongoing clinical therapy.)
- Coachability & Conflict Management: You must possess the willingness and humility to explore your own emotional responses and historical wounding. If you get triggered during our time together, you agree to step away from the instinct to project blame, lash out, or shut down. Instead, you agree to be coachable by Benita and use triggers as mirrors for personal reflection. Wounding occurs in relationships, and healing happens in a healthy community. This retreat serves as a safe practice ground to learn constructive communication skills that you can use in your everyday life.
Is This Deep-Dive HSP Retreat Right for You?
- Emotional Readiness: You are willing and ready to face deep emotions so you can heal the root causes of childhood wounds and the subsequent limiting coping patterns in your adult life.
- Advanced Work: This is an intense psycho-spiritual immersion. It is not an introductory workshop or a crisis-intervention weekend.
- Allergy Notice: The retreat environment includes an indoor cat. If you have severe allergies, please contact Benita to discuss if this space is suitable for you. Air purifiers and dehumidifiers run continuously to maintain a healthy physical environment.
- Healthy Standards: To maximize your deep somatic work, participants are strongly encouraged to eat healthy food, prioritize restful sleep, and avoid alcohol or recreational drugs before and during the retreat.
- If you have a heart condition or other medical issues, you must discuss this before applying for the retreat. Breathwork is contraindicated for some conditions.
